The most popular window to add holiday decorations to is the window above the kitchen sink.  Adding water to the tea kettle or doing the dishes, the window we look out of might as well be decorated for Christmas too.

Absolutely loving the rustic simplicity of these wreaths paired with tailored drapery panels.

Hmm, this appears to be the same house in a previous year decorating scheme. A smaller black and white check is used in the tied back curtains and the loose valance on rings. The red bows on the wreaths are the perfect holiday pop. Which version of this window do you prefer? Small black check or big red buffalo check?

Here’s the kitchen window in our home. Decorating for Christmas is easy since red is the accent color throughout my kitchen. An oversize ornament suspends with fishing line. The Santa is a treasure from when my husband spent Christmas in the hospital at 9 years old.

Holiday window ideas. Baby blue satin ribbon holds up a wreath over yellow floral Roman shades. More beautiful windows decorated for Christmas here http://demo2.coolhatwebdesign.com/

Whoever said red was necessary for holiday decorations? How beautiful is that blue satin ribbon the wreath hangs from? I’m a sucker for the yellow floral Roman shades too. On a practical note, I would not recommend using a real evergreen wreath over window treatments; too much risk of the sap getting on the fabric.

Another window in this home with a wreath hanging over the Roman shade. The simple addition of holiday balls to the plant is a pleasant surprise.
